Best fit

Two different tools for two different operations.

Retell AI is best for

Teams with an engineer who will build, test and operate their own voice agents and want component-level pricing, free concurrency for the first 20 calls and a per-model choice of language model.

Paramount is best for

Firms that want the agent built and run for them: Paramount builds its outbound caller on Retell, in a workspace registered to you, with the script, the consent and the scrubs handled and the voice minutes priced at a published rate.

When to switch from Retell AI

Three signs you've outgrown the tool.

  • Trigger 01

You have a Retell account and an agent that works in testing, and nobody to run the lists, the scrubs, the email and the replies around it.

  • Trigger 02

You want the per-minute platform cost in your own account and the service priced on top of it, not folded into a number you cannot see.

  • Trigger 03

You want someone else to own the consent language, the disclosure line and the recording rules by state.

When Retell AI wins

Honest take.

If you have an engineer and want to own the build, Retell is what Paramount builds on, and buying it directly removes the service fee: you pay the component prices on their page and do the work. Paramount is for the firm that would rather not do the work, and it has no outbound results to show yet.

The smallest way to compare for yourself: the AI Lead Responder — $497, live in 48 hours — the same system answering our own site, installed on yours.

Questions

Retell AI vs Paramount, answered.

What does Retell AI cost?

Retell publishes pay-as-you-go pricing by component: $0.055/minute for the voice engine, text-to-speech from $0.015/minute, a language-model charge by model, and $0.015/minute for telephony through Retell, for an all-in range it states as $0.07 to $0.31/minute depending on the model and voice; its own estimator example comes to $0.11/minute. The first 20 concurrent calls are free and Enterprise is quoted (per their pricing page, 2026-10-14). Paramount Exposure builds on Retell and prices voice above the included minutes at $0.25 a minute, with the Install at $2,500 and the Engine at $2,500 or $5,000 a month.

What's the difference between Retell AI and Paramount Exposure?

Retell is the platform; Paramount is a service built on it. With Retell you build and operate the agent and everything around it. With Paramount the agent is built in a Retell workspace registered to you, disclosed on every call, pointed only at business lines and consented numbers, and run alongside the list, the email and the reply handling, for a monthly fee with a published rate card.

Is Paramount Exposure just reselling Retell?

No, and the page says what it runs on so you can check. The Retell workspace is yours and its component charges are visible in your account; what Paramount charges for is the system around it and the running of it, and the voice minutes above the tier are priced at a published rate so the margin on a minute is not hidden.

When should I use Retell AI directly instead of Paramount Exposure?

When you have an engineer who will build, test and operate the agent and the campaigns, and you want component pricing with no service fee. Choose Paramount when you want it built and run for you with the consent and disclosure handled. Paramount has no outbound results of its own yet, which is the other fact to weigh.
