AI video ads cost $750 one time for a done-for-you 12-to-15-second presenter ad from Paramount Exposure, delivered 72 hours from script approval; from $12 to $195 a month for the self-serve tools if you make the ad yourself (Runway, Synthesia, HeyGen and Creatify, each read from its own pricing page on 2026-10-26); and $5,000 to $50,000 or more in production alone for a filmed 30-second commercial, per Vidico's video production cost guide dated 2026-09-21 and read on 2026-10-26. The $750 Presenter Ad is on the AI Video page with the ad that was made with it, and every current Paramount price is on the pricing page.

Those are three different purchases, not three prices for one thing. A tool subscription buys rendering capacity and leaves the script, the casting, the voice and the edit to you. A done-for-you AI ad buys the finished master. A filmed commercial buys a crew, a location, talent and a day. The right question is which of the three you are actually buying, and this guide prices each with the source and the date beside the number.

The three ways to pay for an AI video ad

Self-serve tools, by the month

The AI video platforms sell credits or minutes on a subscription. Runway's Standard plan is $12 a month billed annually for 625 credits, Pro is $28 for 2,250 and Max is $76 for 9,500, with higher struck-through figures shown beside each (runway.com/pricing, 2026-10-26). Synthesia's Starter plan is $19 a month billed monthly, or $14 a month billed yearly, for up to about 12 minutes of video a month; Pro is $89 a month, or $59 billed yearly, for about 60 minutes (synthesia.io/pricing, 2026-10-26). HeyGen's Creator plan is $29 a month, or $24 a month billed annually, for 600 credits; Pro is $49 for 1,000 and Business is $149 plus $20 per seat for 1,500 (heygen.com/pricing, 2026-10-26). Creatify, built for ad creative, lists Standard at $15 a month for 55 credits, Pro at $55 for 280, Max at $95 for 730 and Business at $195 for 1,500, with a second, lower figure beside each under a 30%-off annual-plan banner (creatify.ai/pricing, 2026-10-26).

What the subscription does not include is the ad. The script, the presenter's look held from shot to shot, the voice, the captions, the offer card and the revisions are all your hours, and credits are consumed by the takes you throw away as well as the one you keep.

Done-for-you AI, by the ad

The second route is a fixed price for a finished ad. Paramount's AI Presenter Ad is $750 one time: a 12-to-15-second vertical ad with an original AI presenter cast for your brand, a script written for your offer, scripted voice, word-synced captions and a burned-in offer card, delivered 72 hours from script approval, with two revision passes included and the master yours outright. The ad that proves it, This Ad Cost $750, was made with the same pipeline and says what it cost. For a multi-scene piece, the AI Brand Film is $2,500, delivered 5 business days from script approval. A channel that needs volume is the Content Engine: $3,500 a month, month to month, for eight presenter videos. All three are on the AI Video page.

A filmed commercial, by the day

The third route is production. Vidico's guide, "Video Production Cost: What You'll Actually Pay in 2026" (vidico.com/news/video-production-cost, dated 2026-09-21, read 2026-10-26), puts a 30-second commercial at $5,000 to $50,000 or more for production alone, with simple digital-first spots starting around $5,000 and broadcast-quality spots from $15,000. The same guide lists a crew of three to five at $2,500 to $8,000 a day, freelancers at $600 to $1,200 a filming day and on-screen talent at $500 to $1,500 a day. A reshoot is a second production day at those rates.

What drives the price of an AI ad

Presenter consistency. Making a generated person look like the same person across two shots, let alone six, is the hardest problem in AI video and the one the self-serve tools leave to you. A done-for-you price includes the casting and the identity lock.

The script. The tools render what you type. Nothing on the Paramount side renders until you have approved the script, which is why the delivery clock starts at approval rather than at payment.

Voice and captions. Clean scripted delivery, word-synced captions and a legible offer card are the difference between an ad and a clip, and each is a separate pass on a self-serve tool.

Revisions. On a subscription a revision is more credits. On the Paramount ad, two revision passes are included, requested within 14 days of delivery. On a filmed spot a revision that needs new footage is a second shoot.

Rights. Filmed talent comes with usage windows and renewal fees. An AI presenter cast for your brand is exclusive to you, disclosed as AI, with no usage clock.

The costs the price list leaves out

Your hours. The self-serve route is cheap in cash and expensive in evenings. Count the time to write, cast, render, re-render, caption and export before calling a $15 plan the cheaper option.

Disclosure. AI presenters have to be labelled as AI at every platform upload, and an ad that presents a generated person as a real employee or customer costs more than money when it is found out. Paramount discloses at delivery and at every upload, and treats that as part of the work.

Media. None of the prices above include the ad spend to run the ad. A $750 ad with no budget behind it is a post, not a campaign.

The inquiry. An ad brings the inquiry; it does not answer it. The $497 AI Lead Responder answers website inquiries in under 60 seconds and sends the person to your booking link, and video engagements credit in full toward any Paramount install booked within 30 days.

Frequently asked questions

How much does an AI video ad cost per video?

$750 one time for Paramount's done-for-you AI Presenter Ad, delivered 72 hours from script approval. On a self-serve tool there is no per-video price; you pay $12 to $195 a month for credits or minutes (Runway, Synthesia, HeyGen and Creatify, 2026-10-26) and the number of usable ads depends on how many takes you discard.

Is an AI video ad cheaper than a filmed one?

Yes, by an order of magnitude on the published figures. Vidico's 2026 guide puts a filmed 30-second commercial at $5,000 to $50,000 or more for production alone, against $750 for a finished AI presenter ad and $2,500 for a multi-scene AI brand film. What you give up is a real location, a real person and footage of your own premises; what you gain is a revision that is a regeneration rather than a reshoot.

Do AI video ads have to be labelled as AI?

They should be, and the major platforms carry an AI-generated content label for exactly this. Paramount discloses the presenter as AI at delivery and at every upload, and never presents an AI presenter as a real employee, client or customer.

Can I make an AI video ad myself for free?

Partly. Runway, Synthesia and HeyGen each publish a free tier with limited minutes or credits, and HeyGen's free videos carry a watermark (pricing pages, 2026-10-26). A usable ad with a consistent presenter, clean voice and captions is the paid tier plus your hours.

Does an AI video ad book appointments?

No. The ad brings the inquiry. The $497 AI Lead Responder answers it in under 60 seconds, qualifies the person and sends them to your booking link, where they choose a time; it never books for you.

How to decide

Price the three routes against the hours you have, not just the cash. If you have an evening a week and a steady hand, a self-serve plan at $12 to $195 a month and the patience to learn it is the cheapest cash route. If you want a finished ad this week with a presenter held consistent and the words approved before anything renders, the $750 ad is the number; order it on the AI Video page and the script arrives within one business day. If the brief needs your real premises, your real team or a real location, that is a filmed shoot and Vidico's ranges are the honest starting point.

Paramount Exposure is an AI development and software agency; the video line is one product inside it, and every price is on the pricing page.
